Sports massage is geared towards athletes to prevent injuries, enhance their performance, and decrease recovery time after events. There are three types of sports massage. Pre-event massage, post-event massage, and maintenance massage. Each type of massage is tailored to the individuals needs, are sport specific and may include corrective stretches.
