Therapeutic Cupping

Did you know that the practice of cupping dates back to over 5000 years ago in China?

A combination of therapeutic massage and cupping. Silicone cups are placed on the body. They may be left in place, used with gliding strokes, or combined with active or passive stretching to increase range of motion.

Please note that cupping can leave bruises "cupping marks" which are a reflection of the stagnation in the underlying tissue. They generally last from several days to a week. As clients have more sessions the underlying tissue becomes healthier, cupping marks are not as significant and they heal more quickly. With routine cupping many clients stop experiencing the marks all together!
