Nicholas Houghton, LMT

Bio

Nicholas is a 1999 graduate of the Newington Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Nick has been in the hospitality business and working as a skilled therapeutic and clinical massage therapist for over twenty years. He is a certified Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy and Corrective Movement therapist. This modality focuses on alleviating pain by increasing circulation to relax muscle spasms and targeted work to defuse trigger points. Nick specializes in clinical and sports massage and he offers modalities such as cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and Kinesio-taping applications. He works with a wide variety of clients of all ages and helps them to identify patterns in their daily life that may be contributing to their discomfort. Nick works with clients with specific medical conditions such as sciatica and low back pain, clients with muscle imbalances in the body caused by repetitive stress or compensation, as well as athletes who come to recover and maintain their bodies so they can compete and perform at their best.

Jennifer Ganser, LMT

Bio

Jennifer is a 2009 graduate of the Westport Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. In 2012 she was certified in the Wilson-Meagher Sports Therapy Method so she could apply her manual therapy skills to horses. Her passion for posture based corrective massage therapy prompted her to enroll in the program taught by Neurosomatic Educators in Clearwater, FL and specialize in neurosomatic therapy (NST) After completing the program she began practicing NST and clinical massage at Carlson Physical Therapy until 2021 when she opened a second office in her hometown of Bethel, CT. Jennifer specializes in clinical massage therapy, sports massage, therapeutic cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and Kinesio-taping applications. She sees clients with medical conditions such as plantar fasciitis, migraines, TMJ, and sciatica. Jennifer also works with athletes to help them maintain their flexibility and prevent injury so they can excel in their sport whether it's on the golf course, in the riding ring, or an upcoming 5k long distance run.
